1950s Murano Rezzonico chandelier
Monumental 20th-century Murano glass chandelier in the Ca' Rezzonico style. The model draws inspiration from the iconic Ca' Rezzonico architecture, created in the 18th century to adorn the halls of noble palaces overlooking the Grand Canal.
Entirely handcrafted, it is built around a solid internal metal frame, concealed by traditional "bossole"—blown glass cylinders expertly threaded one by one along the curvature of the arms.
The dominant shade is amber gold, amplified by the facets of the worked glass. Rich in floral decoration, the stem elements and candle holders are interspersed with twisted leaves and a splendid bouquet of polychrome glass paste flowers in shades of pink, light blue, yellow, and red.
Italian manufacture.
